Volunteer Center Mission to Israel

The City of Karmiel and the Misgav Region is looking for volunteers seeking an adventure that will enrich their lives immeasurably.  Karmiel and Misgav are Pittsburgh’s partners in Israel in the innovative Partnership2Gether (P2G) project, which builds people-to-people connections between Israelis and Jewish communities in the Diaspora through an array of educational, cultural, and economic initiatives.

Join other members of the Pittsburgh Jewish community, April 22 – April 29 2018, in northern Israel’s magnificent Galilee region, where you will delight to Israel’s natural beauty and forge meaningful new friendships. Your service and presence in this area is an invaluable boost to the morale of the Israeli people.

This annual trip consists of a week of volunteerism projects in the Karmiel/Misgav region with plenty of down-time to explore and experience all that the region has to offer.

Volunteers are only responsible for:

  • Airfare to and from Israel
  • Any costs associated with Shabbat outside of our P2G region

The people of Karmiel/Misgav will be responsible for:

  • Providing you with a once-in-a-lifetime experience by hosting your stay

Travel Dates:

  • April 22 – April 29 2018
