Each year the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh’s Volunteer Center, which connects volunteers with a wide variety of meaningful opportunities and experiences throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Good Deeds Day is a global day of doing good and service that unites millions in doing good deeds and creating positive impact. In 2017, 2.5 million people volunteered in 93 countries worldwide. Organizations and communities can put into practice the simple idea that every person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.
Our Volunteer Center has organized Good Deeds Day in the region since 2013 and our goal is to expand our activities citywide. Good Deeds Day 2018 is scheduled for Sunday, April 15, 2018 and we would like to have as many communities involved as possible. Please fill out this brief form to tell us a little about yourself, your organization, and what kind of volunteer opportunity you have. You are welcome to have more than one opportunity, but please fill out a separate form for each project so that individual registration pages can be created.
