Junior Achievement gives young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices. Corporate and community volunteers deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship in over 30 counties in Western Pennsylvania.
Junior Achievement Kit Recycling is a program wherein volunteers come in to sort and repack extra educational materials that have been sent back from JA lessons at the schools they serve. By sorting and combining the recycled supplies, JA is able to keep costs low on some of its programming.
This opportunity is flexible, based upon availability and volunteer need.
