Co-established by the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), Pittsburgh Section and the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Greater Pittsburgh (JWF), the Center for Women provides programming, services, and referrals to women in transition with the goal of financial literacy and economic independence.
The Center for Women is looking for people to volunteer for their mentoring program. Mentors will...
-Provide support or guidance for a period of 6-12 months as a woman navigates a life
transition such as a divorce or change in careers.
-Financial Mentors are asked to commit to a period of 3 to 6 months working with a
woman on her budgeting and basic financial needs as she learns to manage her own
finances after a transition.
