Below we have links to both Act 33 and Act 34 clearances as well as the FBI Criminal History Background Check. Act 33 & 34 are both free for volunteers!

You will receive your clearance via mail at the address you listed under “Requester name.” This process will take approximately 14 business days.

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is utilizing Cogent Systems to process fingerprint-based FBI criminal background checks. *NOTE: Unless required by the organization, you do not need to get an FBI background check if you have lived in Pennsylvania for the past 10 consecutive years.
