Amy is the Manager of our Volunteer Center. Amy has been with the Federation as the Shalom Pittsburgh Associate since 2012 where she has made a tremendous impact across 6 programming divisions and over 40 events per year. Amy has had a passion for volunteerism her whole life and is very excited to put that passion into practice with the Volunteer Center. Before joining the Federation, Amy was an adjunct faculty member at Luzerne County Community College and was the Director of the Jewish Community Center Day Camp in Dallas, PA. Amy also coordinated volunteer service projects and a volunteer alternative spring break trip to Montevideo, Uruguay while she was a Program Associate at the Freeman Center for Jewish Life at Duke University. Amy holds a B.A. in Political Science from Clarion University and an M.A. in Political Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Haley is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Honors College with a degree in Psychology and certificates in Global Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Jewish Studies. Haley worked as both a Resident Assistant and served on the Resident Student Association Executive Board for two terms. She also served as the Jewish National Fund Campus Fellow for the Pittsburgh area and worked abroad as the Special Projects Intern with the World Zionist Organization in Jerusalem. Haley has an extreme passion for volunteerism and working in the Jewish community. She is excited to share her experience in networking, marketing, leadership development, and event planning with the Volunteer Center.

Joyce serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Volunteer Center. She recently completed two years in Cleveland, Ohio as a Teach for America Corps Member and is excited to bring her passion for serving others to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. Joyce holds a B.A. in Digital Media Arts and Theater Arts and an M.S.Ed. in Secondary English Education, both from Duquesne University. She served as President of Duquesne’s Spotlight Musical Theatre Company and as Secretary of the Red Masquers. Joyce still enjoys participating in community theater and also works with the local nonprofit Angels from the Heart by performing and managing their online presence. She is thrilled to be helping the Volunteer Center make Pittsburgh a great place to be!
